FAQ

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED FROM US AT THE TIME OF BOOKING?

At the time of booking, I only need the dates your wedding weekend takes place on. Everything after that I take care of during the planning, guiding you through each step and gathering what I need along the way. There is no need to plan any hours when you book. That stays flexible and can be left open, right up to the wedding day itself. We talk it through in more detail while we plan. Any further options can be added at any point during the planning.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE HAVE BOOKED YOU?

This is very individual. I guide you through everything. You always know the next step and when you will hear from me. What follows is part of the process, not a fixed set of steps: We talk about your vision and I set up a shared Pinterest board. A few months before the wedding, you receive a questionnaire and I create a moodboard. Shortly before the day, we go through everything in a final video call. I always arrive one day early and visit your venue beforehand. If you are working with a planner, I coordinate the details directly with them. Communication runs through your planner unless you prefer otherwise.

HOW INVOLVED ARE YOU IN THE PLANNING PROCESS?

As involved as you need me to be. I help plan the timeline and think through the lighting, the locations and anything else that comes up, so the day flows the way you have pictured it. If you have a planner, I am glad to work with them and adapt to their structure.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH ON THE WEDDING WEEKEND?

Part of my job is to read the room, to know when to be close to a moment and when to step back and let it happen on its own. I believe that every wedding tells its own story. I want to understand and embrace the details that make each celebration special. Portraits and group sessions will be planned around your vision, so they fit into the flow and you stay present.

DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY?

Vintage camcorder snippets are always included. You can add a highlight video filmed on the camcorder. Videography beyond that is not something I offer myself, but I am glad to refer you to videographers and content creators I trust. I see us all as one team and coordinate with them before the wedding, so we work smoothly together. If you wish, I can arrange a joint offer with a videographer or/ and content creator, where we cover your wedding together.

DO YOU OFFER DRONE COVERAGE?

Yes. Drone coverage is always included. I use the drone wherever the location allows for it. We will go through this together in detail during the planning. There is no additional fee for it.

WHAT WILL THE BALANCE OF COLOUR AND BLACK AND WHITE IMAGES BE?

Your gallery comes as a mix of colour and black and white. This is something we talk about together beforehand, so that I know if you love black and white, would rather have less of it or like the two kept in balance. I will edit with that in mind.

WILL YOU GUIDE US DURING PORTRAITS?

Of course. You do not have to worry about what to do in front of the camera. I will calmly guide you and when real moments happen, I will step back and let them. Instead of holding you in a set pose, I like to give directions and create room for something honest to happen.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE PRIVACY?

Your wedding is not my content day. It is deeply personal, so I respect your privacy throughout. If you are open for some photos to be shown, I will put together a selection and send it to you for approval. You decide what is shared and what stays private. If you would rather keep everything private, that is completely fine, too.
